The Cayman Hash House Harriers was founded in April of 1978. We are a group primarily focused on running and walking events. With over 50 members, we meet every Monday at different locations throughout our beautiful island of Grand Cayman. All are welcome to join us, just show up to run or walk, and to socialise... On On!
Cross Island Relay Information
Due to Cayman Islands Government gathering restrictions, the 2022 Cross Island Relay has been cancelled. We are very sorry but hope to see everyone on the road over the next year and for the 2023 Cross Islands Relay.

CROSS ISLAND RELAY
Annual Cross Island Relay
The Annual Cross Island Relay, sponsored by Fidelity, organised by the Cayman Hash House Harriers has been set for Sunday 7 February. The race starts at 6a.m. from the East End.
On site Registration and Packet Pickup will be from noon to 4pm at Camana Bay on Saturday 6 February near the Observation Tower. All teams must come to Packet Pickup to collect race numbers which must be distributed to each team member. No Packet Pickup or number collection on race day.
Teams can Pre-Register at RaceCaribbean.com Online registration closes at 5pm on 5 February. Teams wishing to register after time must register in person on Saturday at Camana Bay.
The Hash encourages all teams to register online. Any cheques can be made to Cayman Islands Hash House Harriers. Cost if KYD$120 per team (USD $150)
NOTE REGARDING PARKING AT SMITH COVE: Please note that it is illegal to park on the double yellow lines near Smith Cove.
******ROAD CLOSURE NOTE******
Please note that South Church Street between Antoinette St (entrance to Websters) to Denham Thompson will be closed on Sunday morning to ensure the safety all all participants. Please ensure you avoid this area.
Parking has been made available at the Grand Old House for all participants.
The Hash accepts no responsibility for any parking issues or tickets issues for illegal parking during the event.
All team members will receive a Technical Shirt.
Water, drinks and food will be at Smith Cove for all participants.

CONSTITUION

1.The club shall be called “The Cayman Islands Hash House Harriers”.

2.The objects of the club shall be to promote running and other athletic or sporting activities in the Cayman Islands; and to participate in any sporting events in the Cayman Islands and overseas; and to promote the social intercourse of members.

3.The number of members of the club shall be unlimited.

4.The club shall have the following officers who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting for the succeeding year;- (i) A treasurer, whose responsibility shall be to administer the financial affairs of the club; and (ii) A secretary, whose responsibility shall be to deal with the routine correspondence of the club.

5.The annual subscription for members shall be CI$5.00 or; in the case of junior members under eighteen years of age, CI$2.00. Subscriptions shall be due on the first Monday in every year.

6.The members in general meeting shall have power to alter the rules.

7.An annual general meeting of the club shall be held in each year on such day as the committee shall determine, or failing such determination, on the first Monday in December, to transact the following business:- (i) to receive the Treasurer’s report on the financial standing of the club; (ii) to appoint the officers; and (iii) to deal with any other matters. Extraordinary General Meetings of the club shall be held at such times (subject to appropriate notice being given in accordance with (c) below) as any two or more members shall request. Notice convening general meetings shall be announced to the members attending the regular weekly club run on the two consecutive weeks prior to the proposed general meeting.

8.At general meetings five (5) members shall form a quorum. Junior members may attend general meetings, but that shall not be entitled to vote and they shall not be counted as part of the necessary quorum.
